User testing is an essential element of planning and executing successful, effective digital content and applications.
At Stonehill College, Shannon conducted user testing for various stages of the college’s website redesign, and she employed speak-aloud testing while at Harvard Law School to help educate campus clients about what their users were experiencing when attempting to use their websites. While at the JFK Library Foundation, she also conducted independent user testing for the JFK Challenge App for Kids and worked with the digital agency to review and incorporate insights from formal, videotaped user tested conducted by Bluecadet.
At Harvard Business Publishing, Shannon partnered with UX leads to design user-tests as part of a holistic design thinking approach to product development. At Lifetime Arts, Shannon designed and led user testing using web-based applications, like usertesting.com for a variety of digital projects and products that she launched there.
