Shannon has over 15 years of experience working with design, production, web development, and print professionals to plan and create effective print, online and out-of-home marketing and communications materials.
She has served as Manager, Corporate Public Relations, for global advertising agency, DDB Worldwide; as Internal Communications Manager at Condé Nast; as Associate Director, Web Marketing at Stonehill College, as Associate Director Online for Content Strategy and Support at Harvard Law School, and as Communications Director for Lifetime Arts. All of these roles included the management of a variety of internal and external communications and marketing initiatives and executions. Enterprise websites, news websites, redesigns, microsites, establishing social media presences, collaborating on campaigns executed across print and web, etc.
As Deputy Director, Digital Media, Marketing and Communications at Lifetime Arts, she has overseen the publication of:
- 200 blog posts documenting our work, and telling the stories of the people whom we impact
- Hundreds of engaging social media posts, growing our reputation and reach with funders, program partners, grantees and the press (NPR, NYT)
- Enterprise websites, publications, grantee funded project websites, editorially-focused, thought leadership newsletters, materials in support of major initiatives, press kits, collateral for in-person events and conferences, video, audio, and learning content.
